Warm light on Piazza san Marco
On our way back to our hotel, after a long morning of photography, we had to cross Piazza San Marco. Just before we entered the Piazza, the most wonderful golden light met us. --Jacob Surland Read the full blog post Photo by: Jacob Surland, www.caughtinpixels.com Licensed creative commons non-commercial v4.0. A Swedish Church
I always find that churches are interesting and I love to photograph them. Each country has it's own style, and yet you can almost always recognize a church. This particular church is from Hishult in Sweden. A typical Swedish village church. Photo by: Jacob Surland, http://www.caughtinpixels.com

One Bird
I could have spent much more time shooting photos inside the National History Museum in Paris. I got there 1½ hour before it closed, and I didn't even spend time looking at the exhibition. The building itself is a master piece, however this particular bird did catch my attention.

Armenia is one the Worlds small hidden gems if you ask me. The country is very small but has a grand history. Not only can they credit themselves for being the first nation in the world, to be Christian, and having invented Red Wine, but they also invented the Color television. Not bad for a small Country. Path into the unknown
A path into the unknown mist. A magical misty morning in Hünfeld Germany, hometown of one the people credited as inventor of the computer, Konrad Zuse. It was pure coincidence that we arrived here, but it was a gorgeous place. Photo by: Jacob Surland, http://www.caughinpixels.com

Gates of Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one the most beautiful medieval towns in Germany. Even though a huge part was destroyed during bombings of the second world war, the town has been rebuilt. It is surrounded by a ring wall, and you can walk most of the way around it. There are a number of gates in the city wall; this is Klingentor. Photo by: Jacob Surland, http://www.caughtinpixels.com
Flowers on the Corner
Monaco is very known for its money and Formula 1. However, Monaco is a very beautiful city too. It is the second smallest country in the world. Only the Vatican is smaller. You find all sorts of beautiful old buildings. This flowerist on the corner I particularly liked. Photo by: Jacob Surland, http://www.caughtinpixels.com

Stairs to the sky
I found the stairway to Heaven in Mont Saint Michel a could of years ago. Well - maybe not exactly. But I used half a stairway to get a fake stairway to Heaven. --Jacob Surland

Stars and not least spot lights above Mont Saint Michel. These spot lights are amazing. The top of the tower is about 150m above the sea level, but these spot lights are just lighting up the sky. See the unprocessed photo in the full blogpost: http://goo.gl/gvSu93

I don't know if there ever was Gold in Cologne, but if there was, they must have put it into this into this bridge. When I got close, I could see there is is another kind of gold on the bridge. It's full of padlocks hung by lovers. I have never ever seen so many padlocks in one place, as on this bridge. It's from one end to the other.
